"message": "Merge tag \u0027x86_tdx_for_7.4-rc1\u0027 of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip\n\nPull x86 TDX updates from Dave Hansen:\n \"There are two high-level things going on here.\n\n First, TDX host systems currently consume ~0.4% of physical memory for\n their own memory metadata. This is all-or-nothing; you either pay the\n 0.4% or can not use TDX. A new TDX module feature (Dynamic PAMT)\n allows this metadata to be allocated for 2MB of host memory at a time.\n This, of course, saves precious DRAM when TDX utilization is low on a\n host.\n\n Second, the TDX ABI has fixed-size \"quotes\" that are passed around\n during attestation operations. These 128k buffers are far too small\n for post-quantum cryptography where the quotes grow substantially. The\n TDX module now has the ability to enumerate the sizes of the quote\n buffers. Plumb the new size enumeration into the kernel\"\n\n* tag \u0027x86_tdx_for_7.4-rc1\u0027 of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip:\n virt: tdx-guest: Make the Quote buffer size dynamic\n x86/tdx: Add a helper to query maximum Quote size\n virt: tdx-guest: Add a helper for the Quote buffer size\n virt: tdx-guest: Calculate the Quote buffer size safely\n virt: tdx-guest: Give the Quote buffer an explicit type\n x86/tdx: Take the Quote buffer as a generic pointer\n x86/tdx: Restrict attestation exports to the tdx-guest driver\n virt: tdx-guest: Remove unused and confusing function argument\n x86/virt/tdx: Formalize SEAMCALL leaf version encoding support\n Documentation/x86: Add documentation for TDX\u0027s Dynamic PAMT\n x86/virt/tdx: Enable Dynamic PAMT\n KVM/TDX: Get/put PAMT pages when (un)mapping private memory\n x86/virt/tdx: Add APIs to support Dynamic PAMT ops from KVM\u0027s fault path\n KVM/TDX: Allocate PAMT memory for TD and vCPU control structures\n x86/virt/tdx: Handle multiple callers in tdx_pamt_get/put()\n x86/virt/tdx: Allocate refcounts for Dynamic PAMT memory\n x86/virt/tdx: Add __tdx_pamt_get/put() helpers\n x86/virt/tdx: Allocate page bitmap for Dynamic PAMT\n x86/virt/tdx: Simplify PAMT layout calculation\n",
